What are they?
That black and white chequered board thing that you have seen on your Pepsi Max and here, is a QR Code and put simply they get you quicker access to cool stuff on your mobile without the fiddly hassle of thumbing away on your mobile. Just scan the code . . . et voila – that’s what I am talking about.
We know that this won’t work for everyone and you might have to try a couple of different routes but hey this is new technology. Handset compatibility is improving each day and some phones come with it pre-installed – so check first
So grab yourself some software and away you go!
Step 1 - Load up your mobile
First things first - can your phone handle it?
You will need to know your mobile model in order to get the correct software for your phone.
Grab yourself a QR Code Reader here’s how. . . . . .
The easiest way is to point your mobile phone browser to one of the following providers and download their FREE software – they should be able to detect whether your phone is good enough.
You may need to press ok to go through to the URL.
Go on try it . . . This is the hardest part of all.
Step 2 - Yes - then click away
Exciting init ! Just open the reader ( application ) on your phone and take a pic of the code on your pack. The reader will reveal what was hidden in the code.
Issues? Eyes right . . . . . . yep that’s one there try that!
